When you are scrolling in the SAS output window, your system might become unresponsive. Then, scrolling is no longer available in the log and output windows. The Enhanced Editor windows might be accessible, and you might be able to copy and paste from the Enhanced Editor to another application, but the SAS session cannot recover from this state and must be closed. You might need to shut down SAS from the Task Manager. Closing SAS in this manner can trigger an Enhanced Editor error in the Windows Event viewer.
